This weekend, during advance polls, we placed some ads and road signs in some key ridings where the Conservatives are already struggling.
One of the ridings we targeted is Poilievre’s own riding, Carleton, where we placed road signs that exposed Pierre’s alignment with Donald Trump. But his campaign didn’t like what we had to say. They responded by aggressively blocking our signs with their own and making them impossible to read. Just check out these before and after photos:
This wasn’t an accident. It was a deliberate attempt to hide the truth from voters.
But here’s what they didn’t count on:
- We filed an official complaint with the Elections Canada commissioner calling out this illegal attack on our activities as a registered third party.
- Carleton residents fought back, dozens of voters contacted us in outrage, sending photos and submitting their own complaints about Poilievre’s team to Elections Canada.
- Now, with less than a week until Election Day, we’re doubling down on our campaign to fight back against Pierre’s dangerous agenda to gut climate action, cut public services, and give billionaires even more power.
Here’s our plan:
- Rush new billboards, newspaper, and radio ads into key ridings where progressive champions are well-positioned to defeat Conservatives in the election and fight for bold climate action as MPs.
- Continue partnering with content creators to flood social media and reach young voters. We’ve already reached 1 million accounts with the help of influencers and content creators and have more ideas in the works — help us double our reach to 2 million people before election day!
- Plaster communities across Canada with the truth. We’ve got to mail our final orders of posters and stickers that volunteers are using to cover communities across the country.
Poilievre’s campaign is trying to silence us because what we’re doing is working. They are falling behind in the polls and struggling to even win back his own riding. Let’s show them that we’re not done.
