Last night, hundreds of you gathered for the launch of our election campaign. This election has been a roller coaster already, and the stakes couldn’t be higher – we are so grateful to those of you who joined us to make sense of this moment and take action together.

Here’s what we learned:

🛑 Pierre Poilievre is a pro-billionaire, pro-pipeline Trump-lite, and he must be stopped. Pierre is trying to play Canadians – and we can’t let him get away with it. We talked about what a Pierre victory would mean for our communities – and what we can all do to undermine support for the Conservatives this election.

🚨 But we also need to push Mark Carney on our demands and elect progressive opposition MPs to Ottawa. The polls are tipping towards the Liberals – which is good news for our chances to defeat the Conservatives nationally. But we need to demand better from Carney, and push him to prioritize people over corporations as we navigate the climate emergency, the affordability crisis, and the ongoing trade war. This is going to take a movement on the outside ready to hold Carney to account – and progressive climate champions in Ottawa fighting on the inside!

📣 Remember: we don’t elect Prime Ministers – we elect MPs. Even if the national race looks like a Liberal vs. Conservative fight, your local riding might be different. In ridings where Conservatives are strong, stopping them comes first. Check past results and riding-level projections, then vote for the best candidate to beat them. But where Poilievre’s candidates aren’t a real threat, elect strong, progressive MPs who will fight for bold action – not just rubber-stamp Carney’s agenda!
