The election is officially underway, and the stakes could not be higher.
News broke just yesterday that Alberta Premier Danielle Smith asked Trump to pause his tariffs in order to help get Pierre Poilievre elected. She knows that Pierre would be a friendly PM to Trump’s far-right, pro-billionaire, “Burn Baby Burn” agenda.
The public knows it too. The Conservatives’ popularity is the lowest it’s been in 3 years, and 43 per cent of Canadians think that Poilievre would “roll over and accept whatever Trump demands.”
If we can ride this momentum, counter Pierre’s increasingly desperate misinformation campaign, and show our communities that Poilievre would be working for the Elon Musks of the world, we have a real shot to defeat the Conservatives this election.
The election is coming up in just 5 weeks – the shortest possible campaign window. Pierre and his war room are throwing all their money and resources at convincing Canadians that he’s on their side. If we don’t act, people could get played—and we risk falling into the same far-right trap as the U.S.
