Election day may still be a month away, but this campaign is already shaping up to be quite the roller coaster–and that’s before Trump’s tariffs are set to kick in next week.

Just weeks ago, a Conservative majority government seemed inevitable. Now, the Liberals are surging in popularity and, for the first time in three years, polls are projecting a high likelihood of a Liberal majority government. But, of course, polls are no prophecy and the Conservatives could still bounce back and form government, which means resisting Poilievre remains critical.

With everything shifting so quickly, we need all hands on deck to fight for the future we deserve.

Will you join us next Thursday, April 3rd, for our Election Launch Call? We’ll take stock of this moment, share our election strategy, and take impactful actions together.

  1. Pierre Poilievre is still a serious threat and must be stopped. He’s backed by Big Oil, Elon Musk, right-wing media outlets, and tons of other mega-corporations trying to exploit Canadians. You can bet that his ultra-rich cheerleaders will pull out all the stops to get him elected. We’ve got to fight back by taking action in our communities to make sure our friends, family members, and neighbours don’t get played by Pierre.
  2. We can’t let Mark Carney off the hook. As Carney’s popularity soars, so does the pressure from the fossil fuel industry to gut climate policies and push new pipelines. If he wins, we need to be ready to demand real action on the climate emergency, the cost-of-living crisis, and growing aggression from the U.S. With the majority of Canadians supporting climate action, we should use the election to push Carney to make firm climate commitments we can hold him accountable to if he forms government. We also need to send NDP and Green climate champions to Ottawa where possible, because a strong progressive voice in opposition can help make real wins happen.

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed under these conditions. But don’t worry, if you’re trying to figure out how to have the biggest impact as we ride this rollercoaster, we’ve got your back.

Join us on April 3 over Zoom for our Election Launch Call to learn more!

Onwards,

Atiya
